Frequently Asked Questions
Everything about joining rides, hosting, clubs, photo review and your account. Still stuck? Get in touch.
Getting started
Yes. Creating an account, hosting rides, joining rides and starting a club are all free.
Register with your email and a password, or use "Continue with Google". Either way you will be asked to read and accept the Terms & Conditions before your account is created.
Yes, if you signed up with a password — we email you a verification link and you cannot log in until you have clicked it. Signing in with Google skips this, because Google has already confirmed the address belongs to you.
Yes. On the login page switch to the "Email OTP" tab and we will email you a 6-digit code. It is valid for 5 minutes, and signing in this way also marks your email as verified.
Check your spam folder first. You can request another after 60 seconds, up to 3 codes in a 15-minute window — after that you will need to wait a little before trying again.
An Android app is on the way and will land on Google Play soon. Everything works in your phone browser in the meantime, and there is a "Notify me at launch" link on the home page if you would like a nudge when it is live.
Rides
Open the ride and hit "Request to Join". The organizer reviews every request and approves or declines it, and you are notified either way. You are not on the ride until you have been approved.
Yes. Organizers curate their group for safety and compatibility — bike type, experience, pace. Do not take it personally; there is always another ride.
A few reasons are possible: the ride is already full, its joining deadline has passed, it is no longer "Upcoming", or it is a solo ride the rider has chosen not to open to others. The ride page will say which.
A ride logged for one rider. It still appears in listings so people can see where you have been, but there is no join button unless the rider opened it up.
The last day the organizer will take requests. Requests close at the end of that day, and it is always on or before the start date of the ride.
Draft is private to the organizer. Upcoming is published and open to join. Live means it is rolling right now and new requests are closed. Completed means it finished, which unlocks reviews. Cancelled means it was called off.
Rides only move forwards, and a completed ride is final — its status can never be changed again. A cancelled ride is the exception: it can be reopened as a draft or upcoming ride.
Choosing Complete before the start date cancels the ride instead. It never actually ran, so it cannot be completed — and we ask you to confirm before saving.
Every approved rider is notified immediately and the ride is marked cancelled. Its page and chat history stay readable.
Once your request is approved, a private one-to-one chat with the organizer opens on the ride page. Chat stays readable after the ride ends, but you can no longer send new messages.
Absolutely. Pick the "Local" category, keep the distance sensible, and be clear in your ride rules about pace and experience.
Clubs
A riding group with its own page, members and rides. Club rides are organized in the name of the club, and every owner or admin of that club can manage them.
New clubs are checked by an admin before they go public. Until then only you and your members can see it — that is expected, and you do not need to do anything.
An admin flags the specific parts that need work, and those fields are highlighted on the club edit form. Fix them and save; that puts the club straight back in the review queue.
Not yet — announcements unlock once the club passes verification.
Open the club page and request to join; an owner or admin approves it. Clubs can also invite you directly, and you will get a notification when they do.
Yes. An owner can transfer ownership to any active member from the club page, and becomes an admin of the club afterwards. Owners cannot simply leave a club — transfer it or delete it instead.
Photos and content
Every profile picture, cover photo and ride cover image is checked by an admin before other riders see it. It keeps the platform clean for everyone.
Only you. Other riders see your initial instead of a profile picture, and a ride shows the placeholder image until its cover is approved.
Not for the same slot — it stays locked until the current one is reviewed. Once it is approved or rejected you can upload again.
You will get a notification asking you to upload a different one. Nothing else about your account is affected.
Rider-supplied text is checked for offensive language, and the check runs on our servers so it applies however you post. Rephrase and save again.
Ratings and reviews
After a ride is marked completed, riders who actually joined it can rate the ride, the organizer or the club, and rate the other riders they rode with.
Only riders who were approved on a completed ride with you. That is deliberate — it means a rating always comes from someone who genuinely rode alongside you.
No. Reviews of you as an organizer and as a fellow rider are pooled into a single rating on your profile.
Yes — submit it again for the same ride and it replaces your previous one.
Account and privacy
Your name, username, city, bio, experience, bike, clubs, rides and ratings. Your email address and mobile number are never shown to other riders.
Both matter after a crash. Your blood group is shown publicly for exactly that reason; your emergency contact is private and only ever visible to you.
Profile → Delete Profile. We will tell you first if anything is in the way — a club you own that still has other members, or an upcoming ride with riders already approved.
They stay, so other riders keep their own history intact — they just show "Deleted Rider" instead of your name. Your name, photo, bio, phone number and social links are wiped, and you cannot log back in.
Yes. Deleting your profile frees up your email and username, and registering again creates a completely new account — it does not restore the old one.
